Football head-to-head records

850 matchup pages. Each one compares two clubs on recorded meetings, aggregate goals, table position, points per game and five-match form.

Reading a head-to-head page

Each page answers two questions at once: what happened when these clubs met, and where they stand right now. The meeting list is drawn from completed fixtures in the recorded data, so it may be short for pairings that have only recently shared a division. The side-by-side table covers twelve metrics, with the better value in each row highlighted.

Points per game matters more than raw points when the two clubs have played a different number of matches, which happens often mid-matchday. The form line reads oldest to newest across each club's five most recent completed league matches.
